2016 Calendar
The idea behind the 2016 calendar has been that Midea - being the world's largest home appliance manufacturer with the world’s most comprehensive product ranges with far over 100 different product categories within the smart home appliance industry, specializing in air-treatment (commercial & residential air conditioning solutions), refrigeration, laundry, large kitchen & cooking appliances, small kitchen appliances, water appliances and floor care...
...hence, Midea does not just have products for every-where – but also for almost every 30 minutes during every day (and night!) of the week of (y)our young families – at home as well as in the office.

2017 Calendar
The idea behind the 2017 calendar has been that in every home the 'inhabitants', so also our young families worldwide have established certain 'House Rules'.
We turned those - rather strict sounding - House Rules into the main surprisingly-friendly benefits of our Midea Flagship products we are featuring this year:

2018 Calendar
...budget on internal communication was cut! ✂️
my POV:
🤯 ...a BIG mistake
because such a calendar was (and would!) not only doing brilliant internal Brand Building by:
= 'educating' all employees + also all customers (dealers + retailers who received that calendar every year)
that such a massive Manufacturing Giant
with all its separated and in silo-thinking & -operating Product Divisions...
- has such a vast (the world's largest!) Product Portfolio
- can operate with ONE 'overarching' Brand Message
- which is btw anyway what all global consumers expect + want + should SEE
= ONE BRAND + ONE UNIFIED BRAND MESSAGE
All based on the Midea Brand Positioning and
the main concept behind to enable our consumers to 'FEEL at HOME' by
inviting them to enjoy the 'surprisingly-friendly' product portfolio and
as the slogan states + actively addresses them:
My Dear* 'make yourself at home'
* 'My Dear' = the official English pronunciation of 'Midea'
PS: not to forget the #EmployerBranding aspect
PSS: not to forget the all the calendars which would be given to Family & Friends
